Limit utilization not done.

Hello Experts.

 

I created one Limit Type RU1. I entered determination procedure as 01, update category as 2, and generate limit check in automatic generation. I assigned limit characteristic as BUKRS - Company Code and RPORTB - Portfolio. I did't entered anything for "Limit type filters" setting.

Refer Screenshot for entire setting for limit type.

 

I didn't do any other setting except this.

 

After above config, I maintained Limit Amount in TCode TBL1 against Company Code "1100" and Portfolio as "Future1100"

I maintained Internal Limit amount as Rs. 25Lacs and Valid To date (for internal) as 31.12.9999

I maintained external Limit amount as Rs. 25Lacs and Valid To date (for external) as 31.12.9999

From Date in both cases is 01.04.2013.

 

After maintaining above limits, I posted one transaction using FTR_CREATE in company code "1100" and portfolio "Future1100" of Rs. 10 Lacs on 18.04.2013. After saving and settling above transaction, I saw Report TBLB (overview). There system shows same amount of Rs.25Lacs. That too when I checked "Limits without Utilization" option. It means limit is not utilized.

 

Further when I posted another entry of Rs. 90 Lacs, system didn;t checked above mentioned limits. System straight away allowed posting. Limit utilization is not done.

 

Please tell me the reason, why "limit utilization" functionality is not updated. What configuration or steps i am missing.

Note: We are on EHP6. We are not posting accounting entry for any of the transaction and we are doing this for Future Derivatives.

Hi Friends,

 

How to enter Bond premium amount/Discount amount in FTR_Create. I purchased bond@10000 and paid 11000 which means I paid 1000 as a premium amount.

 

Kindly suggest me how to enter premium amount 1000 in this scenario.

Repetitive Code not updating BP's changed bank data

Hi All,

 

We have existing repetitive codes for a BP and now the bank details of BP have changed in the BP master data.

 

The issue is that the repetitive codes did not get updated automatically with these cahnged bank details. We had to edit the repetitive code so that the new bank details get reflected.

 

My question is should it update automatically or the way client system behaved is normal?

 

Please help.

Error at the time of TPM91

Greetings !

 

I am trying to knock off open long position (10 units of Rs.100 each) with open short position (10 units of Rs.120 each).

 

I tried this in TCode TPM91. When I did this, system gave error:

 

Processing leads to inconsistent positions for 17.04.2013  CoCd:1100 ValArea:001 ValCls:0001  IDNo:CORR_APRIL13 Fut.Act:MID_HNORTH

 

Message no. TPM_TRL063

Diagnosis

An error exists in the derived flows. Further processing would lead to inconsistent positions for 17.04.2013 .

CoCd:1100 ValArea:001 ValCls:0001  IDNo:CORR_APRIL13 Fut.Act:MID_HNORTH

System Response

Processing was terminated.

 

Procedure

Contact SAP.

 

My Query:

I want to know, what is the issue. Where I am missing the configuration. I tried finding if I need to assign derived flows for matching, I didn't found. Please let me know, how I can solve this error.

No output for TPM10 - Post / Fix and reverse business transaction

Hello Experts

 

I posted one transactions where derived transactions are also captured. Then I settled this transaction successfully and executed TBB1

 

When I run TPM10 to fix and post reverse transactions, system says "You have not selected any business transactions"

 

But I do not understand why system does not show any posting even though it successfully ran TBB1.

 

Is there any setting which I am missing when I created business transaction flow type.

 

Note: We are on EHP6

Bank Communication Management - Incoming messages from Banks

Hi,

 

We are using Bank communication management. When we send our ACH and Wire files to the bank, the bank sends two confirmations: 1. First confirmation says that the file is received. 2. Second confirmation sends the total number of items and total amount in the payment file.

 

I have done the necessary configuration in BCM in the step shown below:

Financial Supply Chain Management ® Bank Communication Management ® Payment Status Management ® Map External Status to Internal Status

 

How do I update this in the payment monitor (T-CODE - BNK_MONI)?

SAP says

You must connect the XI system to the ERP system. The interface Collective Payment Order Notification must be set up. What is this interface 'Collective payment order notification' and where should I set it up?

 

Any help in this regard is greatly appreciated.

Hi

 

I have to update the field assignment (ZUONR) when I post an accounting document in FN8X.

 

I was looking for information about it and I found documentation about the user exit: EXIT_SAPLFVN_BUS_OPERATION_102


The ABAP made a brake point in the INCLUDE ZXFVNBOU02 however the program didn't stop.


Somebody knows if this user exit is helpfull? I have to activated this user exit?  where?


Could you recommend  other way to update the field assignment?

Creating Fixed term Deposit

Hi gurus,

 

I was trying to create a Fixed Term Deposit and am stuck up with the below errors.

  1. No accounting Code defined for Company code
  2. there are no relevant Valuation areas in accountind code for company code
  3. No authorization for accounting code, Valuation area product type.

 

Could you please explain me the significance for accounting Code, Valuation Area and Product type?

Upgrade Cash Management from 4.7 to ECC6

Hello,

 

The scope of the project is a technical upgrade "Iso functionality".

 

During the unit test with Cash Management we have many Error messages (e.g TX01 Create contract) specially with valuation area of the company code.

 

Questions :

It is necessary to adapt the customizing between 4.7 and Ecc6 immediatly with FSCM ?

It is mandatory to migrate customizing and data (TPM_MIGRATION) ?

Converting price per unit of commodity future

Hello Experts

 

We deal in commodities futures. Each lot of commodity future is of Metric Tonne (MT) i.e. 1000KGS. But the price quoted in market is in 100KGs. For example, Rs.4500 per 100KGs.

 

Now while entering deal in FTR_CREATE, I entered 1 unit i.e. 1MT. But I need to manually convert price per 100KG into price per MT and then entered price.

 

But my requirement is that I should not manually enter price per MT in the system. I should enter price per 100KG only. System should automatically multiply by 10 (i.e. 100KG rate getting converted in MT rate) and post the transaction.

 

Please let me know how we can achieve this.

Hi Guru,

my client take loan from bank againt purchse of both Capital Assets and operation, and this are payable with in time limit, this is known as buyers credit. Loan for each purchse ia a separate loan. My clint want to manage this loan in sap with automatic repament schedule and interest calculation etc. can any body give me some light regarding configuration.

My Client gets a forward contract to hedge against the imports. These contracts are for a specified time and amount. I am intending to use product type 60B or 60C for the same. I have the following question -

 

  1. Since the contract needs to be settled once the time or amount is reached. As i understand the time tracking will have to be done manually with the help of standard reports. However for the amount, the same linked to the PO and Invoice, PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF THIS LINKING IS POSSIBLE AND ALSO HOW CAN I TRACK THE BALANCE AVAILABLE IN THE CONTRACT AFTER EACH UTILIZATION, IS THERE A STANDARD WAY TO DO THIS.
  2. Which of the STANDARD product is recomended. Since in 60B i do not find any end date while 60C offers another additional TAB for HEdged where this expiration date can be entered.

Initial margin, required in percent basis

Hello Experts.

 

I did setting for initial margin. Now I want to calculate this Initial Margin on basis of percentage. But its calculating number of units mentioned in FTR_CREATE multiplied by amount mentioned in Future Class in FWZZ in conditions.

 

While defining condition type, I defined initial margin as 36 and entered classification as 1 and condition category as 36. Refer Screenshot.

 

Then I assigned this condition type to condition group and condition group to product type 70D. I checked box in transaction type for flowing initial margin.

 

But my requirement is that, it should be calculated as some percent (say 5%) of contract value and not number of units * amount in FWZZ.

 

Please let me know how can i achieve it. I didn't got any setting where I can tell system that initial margin must be calculated on percent amount and not absolute amount. Do I need to selecte another option in condition type

Hello freinds

 

Our client is asking us to develop a customization report for funds transfer (Main bank account to Other beneficiary Bank accounts) letter format.  They are not going to use the standard SAP correspondence settings in TRM module.  Rather they want to develop their own customization format through smart forms.  hence, in this connection can anyone please tell me how to start the work, as the content is very simple as

1.  Header data - who is the Banks contact person

2.  Main Bank details

3.  Beneficiary details (their Bank account details)

4. Amount of transfer

5.  Signatories details

 

So in this case above can anyone please tell me how to start the work, because i am very new to correspondence.  We are using transaction repettive code for posting the transaction in SAP.    Please tell me the feild logic of extraction either from stanadard or do i need to form a custom table like that..

Error: IHC059 – payer items cannot be posted completely.

Hi all

 

IHC payment order was successfully created from PAYEXT Idoc generated by F110 in subsidiary,  however, when I try to post

via IHC0, this error appears and cannot proceed any further. The payment is to be made for external and the determination of clearing partner and route has been successfully made.

 

IHC059 – payer items cannot be posted completely.

 

If any of you has come across this error, please share your expertise with me to resolve the issue.

How can I achieve below scenario throught two-step procedure:

 

Interest due: need to post by FWSO

 

Entry: Dr Interest receivable 1000

          Cr Interest Income  1000

 

Interest Payment: Need topost by FWZE

 

Entry: Dr Cash/bank  1000

          Cr Interest receivable 1000

 

Kindly suggest me what configuration steps required to achieve this one.

Commodity Forward - 80C - Not showing in Position.

Hello Experts

 

I am entering into 10 Tonnes of Commodity "A" at Rs.500 per tonne. To record this transaction, I posted FTR_CREATE with product type "80C" and transaction type 100. There is no field to enter "Flow Type" like we have in Commodity Future.

 

I posted this transaction and I settled it in FTR_EDIT. When I executed, position overview report - TIS1, system didn't displayed quantity and value. It didn't do cash settlement also. Refer screenshot for TIS1 report

 

I am executing this report, because I want to know how much is open commodity future - purchase and sale.

 

As far as settings are concerned, following settings exist.

 

- Product Type: 80C, Product Category: 800, Settlement: Cash Settlement

 

- Transaction Type 100 (assigned to product type 80C): Transaction Category: 100 (purchase). Processing Category: 00101 (Order - Contract - Settlement) and Automatic Posting Release is ticked

 

- Flow Type: 1000 (assigned to transaction type 100) with direction "0" (incoming and outgoing), Flow Category: 50 (purchase), Relevant to Position, Relevant to Valuation and Relevant to Posting is ticked.

 

- Update type DE1000 (direction inflow and outflow) both are assigned to Flow Type 1000

 

- Update type for position update for product type 80C, transaction type 100, Update type for Open: DE1000 and Update type for Close: DE1000.

 

Note: I have made my update type "DE1000" as "Post Purchase Value" in "Set the Effects of the Update Types on the Position Components"

 

Please suggest what could be wrong in my above settings.
